Cosmetic dermal fillers are non-surgical alternatives that contour the face In addition to softening wrinkles and fine lines, they provide a fuller look for hollowed facial area, as well as provide lips with a plump appearance. Dermal fillers are not permanent, but they provide a safe alternative to reduce the signs of aging.

Juvederm, Restylane, and Radiesse

Restylane™, Radiesse®, and Juvederm® are our most popular wrinkle fillers.

Juvederm is developed through an advanced manufacturing process that results in a smooth gel that creates a natural feel. Juvederm also boasts the highest concentration of hyaluronic acid (produced by the body naturally) with a smoother feel compared to other dermal fillers on the market.

Juvederm is applied smoothly through injection which provides fast, natural results. Due to its ease of use, each patient is able to receive a customized look with facial contouring that fits their desired physique.

Juvederm is mainly used in facial lines such as the nasolabial folds, smile lines, and lip lines to promote a fuller appearance.

Results for Juvederm last for one year after a single treatment with minor side effects common to injections such as temporary bruising, swelling, and numbness, which go down after a few days.

Restylane is an injectable dermal filler consisting of hyaluronic acid that provides a full look to skin and facial wrinkles. Restylane is mainly used to soften the appearance of facial wrinkles and nasolabial folds as well as to enhance the appearance of lips.

In contrast to Juvederm, the effects of Restylane last about six months but its effects are more noticeable in the long run due to its firmer feel.

Restylane Lyft

Restylane Lyft, formerly known as Perlane, is similar to Restylane but it contains a higher amount of hyaluronic acid which makes it more effective for deeper wrinkles and folds while providing lifting effects. Injected through a larger needle, the clear gel provides an enhanced look for moderate to severe facial wrinkles.

Effects of Restylane Lyft last about six to nine months.

Note: these products do not consist of collagen or other toxins. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance produced by the body and as a result requires no allergy pretesting.

Restylane Silk

Restylane Silk is used to provide treatment for fine lines around the lips. Restylane Silk is a smooth gel with a refined formula that is made specifically to treat lips and provide a natural and subtle appearance. Fine line correction and meticulous results allow your lips to enjoy a silky natural appearance.

Effects of Restylane Lyft last about six months.

Face Sculpting for HIV Lipodystrophy

Lipodystrophy, also known as fat redistribution, occurs as a result of the body being unable to properly produce, use, or store fat. There are two types of lipodystrophy: fat buildup (lipohypertrophy) and fat loss (lipoatrophy). Men tend to be affected more often by fat loss while women experience fat build up more often.

Fat Loss (Lipodystrophy)

Lipodystrophy occurs mainly in the face where sunken eyes, cheeks, and temples are affected. Buttocks, arms, and legs are also affected with veins being shown more prominently.

Fat Buildup (Lipohypertrophy)

Fat buildup affects the neck and shoulders through an enlarged dorsocervical fat pad (buffalo hump), breasts in both men and women, abdomen enlargement, and several fatty growths around the body.
